Testimonials:

“Sally has breathed life into several of my novels, and the thought that whatever I’m writing might become an audiobook in the future has subtly started influencing how the words reach the page; I sometimes find myself hearing Sally’s voice, especially where dialogue exchanges are concerned. On occasion I even find myself mischievously writing little bits to test her skills. I’m sure there have been moments when she has quietly cursed me - yes, there has been singing! - but she hasn’t yet failed to take on any challenge with a smile, always going above and beyond to achieve perfection. Sally is easy and delightful to work with, and if there’s anyone out there more suited to reading my words aloud, I’ve yet to encounter them - not that I have any intention of looking!”

Tim Greaves, Author

"I can highly recommend Sally. She’s good fun to work with, has a great home studio setup and always sends top quality recordings through in good time. Her easy to listen to, clear voice is suitable for a variety of voice-over work. She also takes direction well and is very patient with the most demanding of directors!".

Lew Bradley, Audio Drama Writer and Producer

"How can I possibly sum up Sally’s abilities as a narrator in a few short sentences? When I decided to put my novel The Break out to tender for audiobook narration, it was a nerve wracking moment. The Break means a great deal to me and I wanted it recorded exactly as I heard it in my head. The posting was live on ACX for several months and I listened through many auditions, but nobody captured the characters just right. Then Sally’s piece arrived and I was absolutely blown away. I knew there and then that she was the one I had been searching for. This book involves a vast amount of characters and a lot of the story relies on dialogue. There is a mix of ages and they all come from different parts of the UK. Her ability to switch from male to female or from one accent to another is incredible, flawless. She does it with true conviction and it sounds completely natural. She is now the only voice artist I would ever use and although I wish her every success, I truly hope she won’t become too busy to take on any future projects I present to her".

Rebecca Xibalba, Author

"My path crossed with Sally quite by chance. The voice artist I’d originally engaged to produce the audio version of my first book in The Walker Mysteries let me down and Sally stepped into the breach - and am I glad she did! She instantly understood the feel and tone of my book, and worked with me to get inside the characters in order to establish their unique voice. The resulting audiobook surpassed all my expectations.

This has led to a collaboration which has seen us produce two seasons of a unique monologue podcast in The Walker Mysteries world. Now we’re working on six 43 minute full-cast stories, in which Sally plays a multitude of different parts, including the two lead characters.

Her range of accents is astonishing - to the extent that I haven’t found anything she hasn’t been to perform to the highest of standards.

A serial killer from London? No problem!

An Eastern European fortune teller? No problem!

A young, sexy and flirty woman from the Black Country? No problem!

Her accents, though, are only a part of Sally’s talents. Marry them to her acting abilities and you’ve got outstanding characterisations which leap off the page.

Sally is a delight to work with, and sessions with her rarely feel like work. She is equally at home taking live direction via Zoom, in person in the studio, or recording remotely in her own studio. The technical quality of what she produces is superb, and the files are easy to work with in post production".

Andrew White:  Author, Producer and Presenter

"Sally is a highly professional, talented audio narrator and actor with the ability to perform a diverse array of accents, ages and emotions in an authentic, engaging manner. She is great to work with, and an excellent collaborator who produces superb work".
